What is the 2026 Mercedes-Maybach SL Monogram Series?
Mercedes is calling the SL Monogram Series the “sportiest model in Maybach brand history,” as well as “the ultimate open-air experience.” We can only assume that translates to some performance balanced with ultimately refined road comfort, great for long drives with the top down.
The 2026 Mercedes-Maybach SL Monogram Series made its debut at Pebble Beach mid-August, powered by a 4.0L biturbo engine that makes 577 horsepower, backed by a 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission. There will be two design concepts available for the two-seater, “Red Ambience” and “White Ambience.”

Mercedes says the red and white hues portray “sensuality, beauty, and lightness,” which is supposed to mirror the driving experience of this car. Take a closer look and you’ll notice the Maybach pattern is seen throughout the vehicle’s exterior and interior, starting with the grille. The Obsidian Black Metallic hood is available with the Maybach pattern in Graphite Grey. Move in even closer and you’ll get a glimpse of the Maybach pattern also used on the soft top. This Maybach gets exclusive 21-inch forged wheels with a multi-spoke design.

Mercedes says a very limited number of the 2026 Mercedes-Maybach SL Monogram Series will be available for the Canadian market, starting late in the third quarter of 2025.
What is the 2025 Mercedes-Maybach S 680 Edition Nordic Glow?
Well, let’s start by saying this one won’t be available in Canada; it’s an exclusive for U.S. customers, but even then, the Mercedes-Maybach S 680 Edition Nordic Glow is limited to only 50 units, arriving in select U.S. dealerships in late 2024. Mercedes says the exclusive sedan is the ultimate in “luxury, refinement and exclusivity.”

Also debuted at Pebble Beach, the Maybach S 680 Edition Nordic Glow features a two-tone exterior, seen above in Lights Violet Metallic and Moonlight White Metallic paint, which Mercedes says is inspired by the aurora borealis. Other features are from the Maybach Night Series design package introduced in 2023, including chrome trim accents. Zoom in for a better look at the 21-inch Maybach-exclusive “Multi-Spoke Champagne Flute” wheels.
Peek inside for even more luxurious details like hand-stitched Rose Grey Nappa leather with Amethyst Grey contrast stitching, also included on the rear-seat pillows. And because you want it to be known that this vehicle is one of only 50, there’s an “Edition Nordic Glow 1 of 50” badge in the centre console. To ensure ultimate luxury and comfort for the passengers, this special edition includes the Executive Rear Seat Package Plus — because luxury is heated and cooled rear cupholders, Maybach champagne flutes, and a refrigerator for the back-seat drivers.
All of that for just US$339,000 — if you’re south of the border and can get your hands on one of 50.
