Archived from groups: rec.games.pinball (More info?) I picked up a really nice pinbot plays great but all displays are totaly dead.I did check and the +100,-100,and the +5 are getting to the display driver on the back of the door,what do i do next I am new at working on pinballs....Thanks....Dave

I went to a friends house who has a Pinbot, that hasnt worked since, you guessed it, it was moved into their new house. Flip switch, most GI lights on, and very loud hum front backbox speakers, volume knob has no effect. I looked at the MPU, no led lights on at all, looked at power supply...

This Pin*bot was somewhat unique in that it had an original unbroken vortex ramp. I always thought the shooter rod spring was too stiff and endangering the ramp ...

First, some flyers followed by Cliffy's repair for the red vortex that is often broken in a Pinbot game. I no longer have my Pinbot game due to selling it to free up some space, but I'm leaving this page here for others that may be interested in the vortex repair job by Cliffy.
