She was a native of Oklahoma.

Survivors include a son, Troy Baker of Merced; a daughter, Mrs. Jean White of Fontana; a brother, Riley Bowers of Riverside; three sisters, Mrs. Mary LaMay and Mrs. Merle Dudgen, both of Riverside, and Mrs. Emily Roland of Elsinore.

Padlocks of Future May Thieves Some Slim Pickings CHICAGO (UP) Lock pickers may find slim pickings in the padlocks of the future. Engineers at Illinois Institute of Technology's Armour Research Foundation have come up with a device to test the wearing qualities and patterns of combinationtype padlocks. Foundation spokesmen said the research should enable padlock manufacturers to build better padlocks.
